Meet The Doctors

Dr. Kuldeep K. Dev

Dr. Kuldeep Dev graduated from the University of Alberta with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 1980. He then moved to Toronto and began practicing dentistry. With a dedication to continuing education he has been able to continually enhance his knowledge and skills to help patients of all ages with their dental needs. Wisdom teeth extractions, cosmetic dentristry and orthodontics are a few of the areas in which he has received advanced training.

He has been practicing in Scarborough for over 30 years and is very dedicated to providng his patients with the most effective dental care to suit their individual needs.

Dr. Dev is a member of the Ontario Dental Association and Canadian Dental Association. He has three children (two of them below) and when he is not working with patients in the office you can usually find him swinging away on the golf course.

Dr. Aneesha Dev

Dr. Aneesha Dev received both her Bachelor of Arts in Biology and French and her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Toronto. In an effort to broaden her experiences in dentistry she moved to New York City and completed a hospital-based residency program (GPR) at Montefiore Medical Centre.

Since moving back to Toronto, Dr. Aneesha has been practicing all aspects of dentistry while always focusing on providing the healthiest smile for patients of all ages.

Dr. Aneesha is a member of the Ontario Dental Association and Canadian Dental Association. She is an avid music lover who enjoys sports, writing and traveling.

Dr. Karn K. Dev

Dr. Karn Dev received his dental degree from Boston University School of Dental Medicine. Prior to this he had completed his undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto. After receiving his doctorate he moved to New York City and completed a General Practice Residency (GPR) program at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. This program focused on advanced general dentistry skills, cosmetic and implant dentistry. He then went on for further training with an implant and cosmetic dentistry program at Montefiore Medical Center where he was appointed Chief Resident. In addition, Dr. Karn has completed a comprehensive implantology program at Columbia University in NYC.

Dr. Karn worked in private practice in the NYC area for several years before returning to his hometown to join his sister (Dr. Aneesha Dev) and father (Dr. Kuldeep Dev) at Dev Dental.

Dr. Karn aims to achieve the best esthetic result by applying a conservative cosmetic dental approach based on the advanced training he has received. He takes pride in knowing that he offers quality care based on individual needs and wants of his patients of all ages.

Dr. Karn is an active member of the Canadian Dental Association, Ontario Dental Assocation, Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Dental Association and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

In his spare time, Dr. Karn enjoys trying new restaurants, staying in shape, and kicking back with a good movie.

Dr. Irina Baranova

Dr. Irina Baranova graduated from the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry on the Dean’s Honor List. She is continually advancing her education, and believes in a comprehensive approach to dentistry. Most recently, she has completed training in general practice oral surgery, crown lengthening, and the use of diode lasers. Dr. Irina is passionate about global dental care, and has participated in volunteer brigades to Cambodia and Uganda. She is an active member of the Canadian Dental Association, Ontario Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry. Outside the dental office, Dr. Irina spends her time in the garden, training on aerial silks, and exploring the hiking trails of Ontario.

Dr. Alma Bukhari

Dr. Alma Bukhari spent most of her life in Boston, Massachusetts.   She received her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry.  Later in 2011, she received her Doctorate degree from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. After Dental School she moved to Toronto.  

Dr.  Bukhari believes in a friendly patient based approach to her treatment.   She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and loves treating anyone from our youngest patients to our eldest patients.   Her favourite part of her job is making the trip to the dentist an overall enjoyable experience.   

Dr. Bukhari is a member of the Ontario Dental Association and Canadian Dental Association. When she is not busy in the office,  Dr.  Bukhari enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.   A lot of her time is spent coordinating activities for her family.   However, in  her spare time she enjoys music, movies, and all kinds of good food.  

Dr. Mona Kumar

Dr. Mona Kumar received her Doctorate degree in 2012 after completing 1 year of internship and has been practising ever since then. She started her practice in India at Choithram Hospital and Research Centre. After working in India for few years, she moved to Toronto. She completed her equivalency process and has been practicing in various regions in the province, from rural to urban areas with patients of all age groups, lifestyles and ethnicity. She is fluent in English, Hindi/Urdu and can communicate with patients in Punjabi and Gujarati as well.

As to her attitude towards dentistry – Dr. Mona is very passionate in providing her patients with utmost care in oral hygiene, and strives to provide the best personalized treatment plan with a conservative and preventive approach. She is a member of Ontario Dental Association and actively peruses continuing education to keep upgrading herself in skills, knowledge and practice.

Outside of dentistry – Mona’s favorite pastime hobbies include singing, travelling and binge watching movies and TV shows with her husband. She also enjoys getting involved with planning and coordinating activities in the neighborhood areas from time to time to get to know more people and to try to build new bonds of friendship with people from different ethnicities.ype your paragraph here.
